Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by Congress in 1998, requires Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. The law applies to all Federal agencies when they develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology. As such, applications developed for our Federal clients are covered under section 1194.21 (Software Applications and Operating Systems) and section 1194.22 (Web-based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications) of Section 508.
